My Life on the Road
Ever since I was born I have been traveling from state to state. I have lived in five different states. Some people say you have lived in every state, and I say no I still have forty-five more states. I have lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Delaware, and Arkansas.
I was born in Cookeville, Tennessee November 15, 1995 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. I can remember when I was little and I used to sit in my mom’s lap and she would tell me stories about when I was little. One story remember very well is when she said she held a cookie at her door to see if I would to get the cookie, and what do you know I did. So now that I figured that out every time I would walk I got a cookie. So eventually I when I really got good at walking I used to get into things that I wasn’t supposed to be doing. My mom told me that she had to keep her eye on us because every time she looked up m and my brother was always in something. She said it was a head ache dealing with us when we first started walking.
No No I don’t want to move mom I want to stay here in Tennessee. But my opinion really didn’t matter much. We were all packed up and ready to leave the house in Tennessee. We packed things in the car that we need on the nine hour drive to Holland, Michigan. It felt like I took a nap and woke up and we were there. Me and my brother where a hand full as we got older. We used to tear up everything in sight of us. It was double the trouble with me and my brother. We once had a car wash in our room with all our toy cars. We got water from though toilet and soap from the kitchen. We had soap and water all over the place in our room. My mom walked back there and saw it and she was very angry with us. She put us in our cribs and cleaned our mess up, then walked back to her room. Then me and my brother jumped out of our beds and into our toy box and we started the car wash again hoping this one would be a success. But then again she came back there and busted us again.
Once again we were on the road again to Bear, Delaware, this drive was eleven hours. Man that was one of the longest drives ever; it felt like I was in the car one whole day but in reality I wasn’t even close to that. Delaware was where I stared school. No No mom I don’t want to be in a different class from Brandon. But sadly once again my opinion really didn’t matter I did whatever she said. I was sad the whole day on my first day of school. Later on that day when we went to lunch my brothers teacher saw me and told my teacher that you have my student, my teacher was like umm no I don’t think so and  they put us side by side and saw that we were twins, they all laughed at each other’s stupidity. But I was because I got to see my brother.
Now that I am older I live in Marion, Arkansas and now I am all grown up and in the tenth grade. I have really grown up since I was little boy and me and my brother are no longer bad we are very good children. I first started school when I was in the second grade. I will never forget that day, because I was pretty much new to the south and the slang they use. The teacher said we are fixing to go to lunch, and I sat there and tired to think of what that could mean, but then I gave up and just asked , and she said it meant about to do. I felt so stupid because everyone was looking at me like I was stupid I was so embarrassed.  I am still in Arkansas and I really don’t plan on moving anywhere else hopefully my parents are ready to settle here for good because I don’t want to move anywhere else I have to many friends here and I really don’t want to try to make new ones. Well hopefully we aren’t moving again I hope when we have come to the end of the road at the finish line because I’m done traveling I’m not moving anymore I want to graduate from Marion High School.

The Day I Learned How To Read

I Learned how to read when I was about 6 years old. My mom used note cards all over the house and i had to tell her what the words werre and then we put them all toghter and READ. If I got all of them right I would get a treat that was the best part of getting the word right. Then when I got in second grade they had a thing called Accerlated Reader "AR". You would go to the libary and check  a book out that you really wanted to read. The books were based on grade level and points. The series of books I used to read is The Box Car Children ,  and Juney B. Jones.
I used to love reading alot I really had a passion for reading books but now I just can't seem to read one book by myself anymore. I would really love to get back into reading if i could. Now I don't like to read i'm very busy now since im in high school. The Box Car Children was a very interesting because those children were very celver and smart. They figured out all if the mystery they new everything about crimes and where to start to find out the mystery. They should have grown up and been dectives.
The Junie B. Jones book series was very funny and crazy. She was a very crazy and a very bad child. She was uncontrolable child her parent could do nothing with her she did what ever she wanted to and never got in trouble. Her books were all fun and I really enjoyed reading all of her books wish I could go back to being little and read her books all over again.
We had this thing that went up from second grade up still seventh grade. It was known as Accerlated Reader better known "AR". It was basically you read a book and you took a test on it and you got points on it. The higher grade level the book was on the more points it was worth. The teacher gave everybody a reading goal, you had to get so many points by a certain day or your grade wasnt gonna be good in class at all. We had different  point clubs like twenty-five, fifty, seventy-five, one hundred point club and so on. Those would get you some where at the end of the year AR party you used your points as cash at the party.

Abraham Lincoln was very ingdiant about the war and the slaves and the southern states.
He says that "one of them would make war rather than let the nation survive." Lincoln accused the southern states of starting the Civil War. He is saying the southern states would rather go to war then let the slaves go, even if it meant killing the country. Then he says the other side "would accept war rather than let it perish." Lincoln is saying the union would rather die then wacth our nation be torn apart.

I Am

I Am
I am athletic and smart
I wonder where I will be in 15 years
I hear nothing is impossible without God
I see my name on ESPN
I want to coach basketball
I am athletic and smart

I pretend that I am superstar
I feel as if everybodys eyes are on me
I touch basketballs as much as I can
I worry that I will fail in life
I cry when my loved ones die
I am athletic and smart

I understand the game of basketball
I say I believe in God
I dream about playing in the NBA
I try to do my best in everything
I hope I can coach basketball one day
I am atheltic and smart
